FAQ – frequently asked questions
What are your working hours like?
I work very flexibly and at different times. As I’m sometimes out and about on my motorcycle, with my kids or doing further training, there’s no set time when I’m always available.
For initial meetings and further calls, I will of course arrange reliable appointments. For concerns in between, it is best to write me an e-mail or leave a message via Slack. I will reply within a few hours.
Evenings and weekends are not usually official working hours, even if I might work for myself.
How much do your services cost and how do you bill?
For most of my services, it makes sense to put together a package, the price of which then applies. See also the proposed packages on the pages of my services. Depending on the service and package, payment is made in advance or monthly with an invoice at the end of the month.
For new customers, I always take a deposit at the beginning.
If I’m booked for individual hours, I track my working time with a time recording tool and bill to the minute. At the moment my hourly rate for all activities is 65,- Euro / CHF. I will send you the evaluation of the time recording with the invoice at the end of the month (or the order).
Why didn't you focus on a single service?
In my professional career, I have always worked in many different areas with a wide variety of tasks. As I enjoy variety, I have not specialized in just one service.
How does our collaboration work?
- Step: Request
You write me a message by e-mail or in the contact form, in which you briefly explain what you have on your mind and what you are doing and planning with your business, or book an appointment directly in my calendar tool.
- Step: Get-to-know-you call
We get to know each other briefly in the 30-minute initial meeting and see whether our ideas match and whether we want to work together. I’m already making notes for a possible offer.
- Step: Conclusion of contractWeagree to work together by e-mail and I send you the details/offer we discussed by e-mail. You confirm the offer briefly by e-mail. So we have a deal and can get started. For legal reasons, I will then send you the service contract, an order processing contract and a non-disclosure agreement.
- Step: Settlement
Billing for packages or new customersIstart ordersfrom new customers after prepayment/deposit has been made. For some packages I always charge in advance, for others at the end of the month.
Billing for long-term cooperation
For longer-term orders and podcast post-production, you will always receive an invoice from me at the end of the month (exception: I take a deposit for the very first order).
- Step: Cooperation
You send me all the necessary files and information as well as access to the tools and platforms (e.g. via a password manager). I’ll start with the order and keep you up to date on the status. Depending on the package, we work closely together or independently with regular updates.
How do we best work together?
I am available via email and Slack. Of course, we can also make phone calls or zoom in.
Do we have a regular briefing?
Yes, for a good cooperation I need as precise a description as possible of the task I can do for you and what your desired result should look like. The more precise your briefing is, the more effective our collaboration will be. I don’t have to keep calling you or writing you a message because there are uncertainties. A virtual assistant is a support that is not annoying!
Is my data safe with you?
Data protection is very important to me. I have dealt intensively with this topic, among other things by taking part in an online course with Karin Steffens. Out of respect for the legal requirements and the protection of your data, it is necessary for us to complete some administrative formalities before we start working together.
At the beginning, for example, I will send you a declaration of consent and provide you with my data protection information. As soon as you accept my offer, you will also receive an order processing contract (AVV) including technical and organizational measures (TOMs) and a confidentiality agreement. The use of your data is documented in a processing directory.
As far as possible, I prefer German or European providers and tools. My e-mail provider is located in Switzerland. In addition, I generally do not work via publicly accessible WLAN networks. You will receive further information on data protection and the technical and organizational measures in detail in the documents that I will send you at the start of our collaboration.
Would you like to get to know me or do you have a question?
Just write to me – whether for a free preliminary talk or other requests. Tell me what’s on your mind and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
I’m looking forward to your post!
